VEGETABLE FABRICS Vegetable Fabrics explores the growth and transformation of plants, linking them to human-made textiles. In tropical climates, the plant world thrives, offering a diverse range of species and ecosystems. The cultures that inhabited our territory developed a deep connection with wetland plants, such as Schoenoplectus americanus and Juncus Cyperaceae, crafting ritual objects through their artisan techniques. Vegetable Fabrics creates pieces that merge the internal structures of plants with the manual weaving and fiber transformation processes.
